K’anjob’al Mayan coffee and cardamom farmers work together as ASOBAGRI, an association that gives them the collective power to improve their quality of life. ASOBAGRI farmers produce and sell high quality product at fair trade prices enabling them to invest in development projects, such as literacy courses and organic and sustainability training in their farming communities.
