This stunning albezia wood stool has a seat hand-woven from recycled sari twine. Albezia wood is bought from the local market, seasoned and cut into the required lengths then put together to make the wooden frame. Recycled saris are collected from the local market, cleaned and twisted to make the twine for the seat. Each seat takes 16 hours to make. Handcrafted by skilled artisans working with Prokritee, one of our fair trade partners in Bangladesh.
