This wooden cross puzzle is made from India’s richly coloured sheeshamwood. This wood comes from sustainable forests where sheesham trees are fast growing and reach heights of around 30 metres. Sheeshamwood is very durable, insect-resistant and easily hand crafted. Handmade by artisans working with Tara, one of our fair trade partners in India.
Suitable for 5 years and above. WARNING: Choking hazard. Not suitable for under 36 months.
Tara Projects
Tara Projects addresses issues of poverty and powerlessness for grassroots artisans. They provide 1000 artisans with fair trade production and marketing support; and through the provision of schools over 1,000 children and ex-child labourers are now receiving an education.
