YWCA Craft Centre

The YWCA opened in 1973 to provide income and employment opportunities for widows and female heads of families after the 1971 War of Liberation. The YWCA runs a savings’ programme and artisans benefit from subsidised food, health advice, medicines, and interest-free loans.
