This star garland has been beautifully made from strong substantial handmade card and colourful tissue papers which let the light shine through. Can be used at Christmas or to add a festive charm to any room throughout the year. Our fair trade partner Prokritee works with Shuktara Handmade Paper in Bangladesh. Shuktara’s producers are very skilled in making jute handmade paper and paper products, and were one of the first handmade paper enterprises in Bangladesh. The women artisans specialise in making paper using scrap from local mills.

Each artisan enterprise focuses on an intricate and traditional crafting technique to generate much needed income in rural communities.
