This Chaccas rattle is made from shells, beans, seed pods, and other materials and tied to a stick to be shaken during dances, it produces a sharp and satisfying sound. Chaccas are a major rhythm instrument in the Andes musical tradition. Handmade using traditional methods, by artisans working alongside Manos Amigas, our fair trade partner in Peru.
