The sugar is a turbinated sugar which means it is partially processed and contains a small amount of molasses content which gives it a hint of flavour and a golden color. The reduced processing means that Turbinado sugar contains small amounts of nutrients not found in refined white sugars.
This sugar is certified organic and contains no nasty anti-caking agents to harm you , the farmers or the environment. Suitable for vegans as it contains no bone char.
