This handmade incense gift pack includes five packs of sticks in a variety of scents, a selection of small stick and rope incenses and an incense holder, all in a beautiful handmade paper box. Twisted rope incense is the traditional style of incense of the Hindus and Buddhists, leaves, spices and aromatic tree barks are wrapped in handmade lokta rice paper. Handmade by skilled artisans in communities working with Mahaguthi Craft with a Conscience, one of our fair trade partners in Nepal.
Instructions for use for the incense: light the tip of the rope or stick. Gently extinguish the flame by blowing or fanning. The incense will glow and release a delicate fragrance. Place the unlit end in the incense burner provided.
Instructions for use for the holder: Place holder on a flat heat resistant surface when burning incense. Never leave burning incense unattended. Burn incense in a ventilated area, away from flammable objects, draughts or open windows. Do not move holder while incense is burning. Ensure incense rope or stick is totally extinguished before discarding.
Caution: keep out of reach of children. Use only on an inflammable base or holder. To avoid damage caused by ash, use a holder with an ash catcher.
