Pure and natural distilled lavender essential oil. Lavender essential oil is known for its calming and restorative properties and is used as a sleeping aid and to balance emotions. When blended it can be used to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections or applied to achy muscles. Essential oils can also be used in oil burners, spas and baths or in massage. Not food safe, see specifications for instructions of use. Distilled by RASA, one of the smaller groups working with Sasha, one of our fair trade partners in India.
Blends well with: Cedar wood, Clove, Patchouli and Tea tree.
Rasa oils are not tested on animals.
How to use:
For use in burners: Add 5 to 10 drops of essential oil to water in the burners bowl. Light a tealight candle underneath bowl. Do not leave unattended or burn for more than 20 minutes.
For use on skin/massage: blend with a good quality carrier oil (e.g. flax oil) to use on skin. Do not use in conjunction with homeopathic remedies.
Caution: Not food safe, toxic if taken internally. Oils may cause skin irritation and should never be applied undiluted to the skin or used near the eyes, therefore only use for a few days at a time. Do not use on babies or small children. Not advisable in early pregnancy or if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy. Oils should be stored in a cool dry place, out of reach of children.
