This gorgeous laundry basket set is hand woven from kaisa grass stitched together with jute thread, the fitted lid is wrapped with recycled sari fabric and has a pompom handle. The baskets start out a natural light green colour and as it dries becomes lightly tanned. Baskets are commonly made from kaisa because of the sturdy nature of the grass, making these baskets robust enough for everyday use. Hand crafted by skilled artisans working with Prokritee, one of our fair trade partners in Bangladesh.
