Ornate colourful kaisa bowl

This vibrant ornate bowl is hand woven from kaisa grass and colourful jute thread. The basket starts out a natural light green colour and as it dries becomes lightly tanned. Baskets are commonly made from kaisa because of the sturdy nature of the grass, making these baskets robust enough for everyday use.
