Classic blue hemp twine

This gorgeous twine is handmade from hemp fibre. After collecting hemp from the local market, the artisans clean and comb the hemp, dyeing it classic blue. After drying in the sun the hemp goes through the hand spinning process to make the twine balls. Each ball of twine takes up to four hours to dye and spin, not including drying time. This twine has numerous uses around the house, use it in the garden, for wrapping gifts or creative projects.
