This incense holder has been hand carved from Palewa soapstone and decorated with a Hamsa hand. Palewa is a common Indian soapstone which has been used for carving for centuries. The high talc content of soapstones such as this make it relatively soft and ideal for carving. Hand crafted by skilled artisans working with Tara Projects, one of our fair trade partners in India.
Instructions for use: Place holder on a flat heat resistant surface when burning incense. Never leave burning incense unattended. Burn incense in a ventilated area, away from flammable objects, draughts or open windows. Do not move holder while incense is burning. Ensure incense cone or stick is totally extinguished before discarding.
