Black twine

This black organic hemp twine is beautiful and strong, and as an additional bonus, it feels good on the hands.  After collecting hemp from the local market, the artisans clean and comb the hemp, the hemp is then dyed with azo free dyes and dried in the sun. Once dry the hemp then goes through the hand spinning process to make the twine balls. Each ball of twine takes up to four hours to dye and spin. This twine has numerous uses around the house, use it in the garden, for wrapping gifts or creative projects.
