These vibrant coasters are handmade from stiffened and quilted batik fabric, and are bound around the edge. Handmade by skilled artisans working with Kwanza Collection Company, our fair trade partner in Tanzania.
Please note this is for one coaster and as they are assorted colours it will be luck of the draw which colourway you receive.

The rural artisans of Kwanza cover a wide area of Tanzania, but come together as more than 50 community groups to produce a range of unique handicrafts using naturally-available resources. Artisans access training in gender awareness issues, business development, and marketing and export services to further their financial independence.
