Trade Aid Importers advises that we are voluntarily recalling the SIPA ‘Clown Counting Set’ (product code 09.13.1170) due to a safety hazard of a small part.
Trade Aid received a shipment in 2015 with an old, smaller version of this product. In this shipment the product’s smallest ring is not safety compliant and must be recalled. In orders previous to, and post the 2015 shipment, the smallest ring has been a larger safety compliant version. In the non-compliant version the smallest ring measures 3.1cm and in the newer, compliant version the smallest ring measures 3.5cm.
All owners of this product are asked to bring it into a Trade Aid shop or place of purchase to identify if they have the new or old version of the ‘Clown Counting Set’. If owners are found to have the smaller non-compliant version a full refund will be provided, or a replacement with the safety compliant version, no receipt is required. Alternatively owners can contact Trade Aid directly. This item was stocked at Trade Aid stores, Trade Aid website, Addington Store (Christchurch), Kilmarnock Toys (Christchurch), Living Nature (Kerikeri), University Bookshop Otago (Dunedin), and Marmalade Clothing and Curiosities (Oxford).
