2011 World fair trade day
Trade Aid encourages New Zealanders to fair trade their world to celebrate World Fair Trade Day, Saturday 14th May 2011. Small festivals of colour and taste will add a splash of Asia to your home or pantry this year as Trade Aid shops around New Zealand send out a public invitation to "fair trade your world” to mark this year's World Fair Trade Day.
Trade Aid will celebrate all things fair trade and how people can bring a little or a lot of ‘fair trade' into their lives through purchasing Trade Aid food for their pantry, gifts for their loved ones, toys for their children, stationery for their office etc.
As a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation, we are celebrating with a nationwide focus on arts and crafts from India and around the world. Vibrant textiles, toys, ceramics and foods will fill the stores and outdoor stands.
Trade Aid has many ideas on how you can fair trade your world a little or a lot, it all makes a difference. Visit your local Trade Aid store, or click Here for more information
