Trade Aid is a truly unique New Zealand based fair trade organisation. We use trade to improve the lives of the world's most disadvantaged producers, by buying and selling their products, telling their stories and speaking out for greater justice in world trade.
Along with general office administration responsibilities providing support and reception to internal and external customers, the successful applicant will work closely with both Personnel and Retail Support Managers on a range of projects. These can vary widely from HR support, conference planning to involvement in retail shop refits. As a result we are looking for an applicant who can demonstrate the following abilities and experience:
• Quality communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility, adaptability, initiative
• Ability to meet new challenges with a cheerful and willing attitude
• Knowledge of MS Office products, and ability to set up access database
• Minimum four years work experience

Working as part of the sales team you will assist the Sales Manager with the development of the online channel providing functionality and initiatives that make it easier for our customers to do business with us and strengthen/ increase our online channel sales.
This role is responsible for
• Development of our online sales
• Improving website performance through shaping and delivering new and improved ideas for online content, backend support and order processing.
• Managing back-end to support the website and CRM database
• Liaising with Marketing to develop social media activity and e-newsletter communication to public and wholesale customers
• Creating reports for sales manager using google analytics
• Liaising with the website design company on changes and back-end problems as they arise
• Communicating with end users on problems that arise with orders and logging/ signing on
The successful applicant will demonstrate
• the ability to interact and communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts and have good problem solving abilities, especially relating to the internet.
• A minimum of two years experience working in an online marketing environment.
• Experience with direct marketing and database management
• knowledge of online tools such as Google analytics and HTML.
