Sri Lanka

The links below are all reports that have come from Gospel House Handicrafts (GHH) in Sri Lanka.

GHH responded immediately when the tsunami hit and within days had supplies collected and sent out and are continuing to make a difference. The following is a report from GHH which was established in 1977 with the aim of providing employment and training to boys from the poor areas of Colombo. They now work with nine, small scale producer groups in different parts of Sri Lanka. Gospel House's production unit for toys at Madampe provides work for 35 young people and the producer groups employ over 65 people/families, in total 115 producers, 80 of them women.
