    a collective of 18 women from the southern island of Bellona who produce soap wrapped in beautifully woven pandanus bags and colourful woven bookmarks.

    Made up of 15 women craft producers, who use locally sourced shells to craft key rings, necklaces and rings

  • Fiji - Matemosi group

    a collection of artisans who produce handmade cards incorporating fine sheets of bark and traditional Fijian design.
  • Micronesia - Marine and Environmental Laboratory of Pohnpei (MERIP)

    MERIP is a non-profit organisation which offers training in self-sustainability projects and involves the farmers in all aspects of decision making and planning.  A young Pohnpein woman is being trained to take over sponge marketing, and when the enterprise is well established, is envisaged that the sponge farming community will take over the business.
