    A co-operative of 100 sugar producers, formed with the goal of increasing members’ income from their sugar harvests. As well as now receiving higher income, increasing their production, and reducing their costs by working co-operatively, these growers have managed to purchase a sugar refinery, to pay for additional harvest assistance (cutting, loading and transportation) and to set up a low-cost seed purchasing service.
